Lumpen Station is a Swiss web radio platform based in Biel/Bienne dedicated to radio art and experimental sound practices.
The station develops site-specific studio formats that are open to the public and simultaneously live-streamed via lumpenstation.art. Its program operates at the intersection of sound art, transdisciplinary exhibition-making, and curatorial research.
In collaboration with cultural institutions and partner venues, Lumpen Station produces and records in-depth conversations, primarily conceived as open dialogues with artists, as well as scholars and independent researchers from diverse fields. These exchanges form a central part of its artistic and editorial practice.
