Mission and Vision
The aim of the festival is to promote awareness and understanding of the acoustic dimensions of our environment. Audible Perspectives shares knowledge about soundscapes and creates spaces for shared listening, exploration and experience. The festival presents a program featuring sound walks, listening sessions, concerts and keynote talks. It brings together experts from the fields of art, science and education, as well as others who wish to learn more about sounds, their origins and their significance for our everyday lives.
Dive into the world of acoustic ecology with keynotes, concerts, sound walks, listening sessions and sound installations: Audible Perspectives is the first festival in Switzerland entirely dedicated to this exciting and rich research area. Let us listen carefully!
Organisation
Audible Perspectives is promoted by the Swiss Society for Acoustic Ecology (SSAE).
The festival team includes Flurina Mia Häberli, Nik Fischer and Simon Hauswirth, all of whom are members of the SSAE board. As a team, they are in charge of the concept and fundraising, as well as production and realisation.

The Swiss Society for Acoustic Ecology (SSAE) aims to support artistic, scientific, and societal activities in the field of acoustic ecology in Switzerland. The focus is on the national and international exchange between researchers, artists, students, and other societal stakeholders in the sense of a fundamental engagement with the soundscapes in the Alpine region and worldwide.
Founded in 2023, the SSAE is an affiliated organization with the World Forum for Acoustic Ecology (WFAE).
